Spring 20 trends we can all get on board with

Fashion trends from the catwalk can often be high fashion and not wearable, but we have good news for you!

Our interpretations of the top 5 trends that came out of the SS20 shows are perfectly wearable, because buying a piece you'll never wear is the least sustainable form of consumption, right?

After all, here at Twiin, we're all about offering pieces that you can buy now, and wear forever...

1. The Trench 2.0 - an update of the eternal classic

We know what you're thinking, trench coats for spring is hardly the most groundbreaking thing you've heard this year, but it's a total failsafe.

A wardrobe staple that you just can't live without.

This timeless and classic piece has been given an update for the new decade.

2. Power Puff (nope we're not talking about the Powerpuff girls) - statement sleeves are more OTT than ever

They saw a subtle revival last year, but in 2020 it's time to make way - both mentally and physically - for the puffed sleeve.

Whether the swell is focussed on your shoulder, or more gradual down your arm. From puff sleeve tops to puff sleeve dresses; we already can't get enough of the puff.

3. Seeing spots - guess who's back, back again

Polka dots are like a fashion boomerang; they always come back around. From polka dot dresses, to polka dot tops, even to polka dot skirts and pants.

Now, polka dots are getting a modern makeover, with a new wave of designers choosing to showcase spots in their SS20 shows.

4. Nature trails - busy florals

Again, florals for spring is hardly groundbreaking, as Miranda Priestly once said.

BUT, they've been given a "busy" update for SS20.

From oversized florals, to head to toe florals, to "wow that's a lot of floral" florals.

From floral dresses to floral blouses, you're sure to find a floral print for you this season, after all, your spring wardrobe just wouldn't look right without a new floral addition.

5. In with the old - vintage style denim

The more vintage looking and worn the denim, the better for SS20.

Forget about mid and indigo washes, this season it's all about light washes.

Because, spring = light denim.
